Agarwood is a dark, resinous wood from Thailand that has been treasured in Asia for centuries. We use it to give the bar a deep, woody scent. It is why the soap is named Sato Agarwood Gold Soap. The scent is gentle, calm and not sweet.
The gold in Sato is pure 24K gold. People in Asia have valued gold for centuries, and we wanted it in a small daily ritual. It is also the idea behind the shape. Each bar is cast like a small piece of gold, in 150 g, 80 g and 20 g.
The bar also holds an extract of five berries. Raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, cranberry and acai, together with vitamin B3. They round off the scent and the lather.
